An LTO patrol officer is facing potential legal consequences following a disturbing traffic altercation involving a delivery rider in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. The incident was captured by a concerned motorist.
The altercation started when a delivery rider found himself in a heated exchange with an LTO patrol officer. The LTO officer was accused of being armed and forcibly taken the rider’s cellphone before throwing it to the ground.
The intense road rage ended after the alleged LTO personnel left the emotionally distraught delivery rider sitting on the side of the road, grappling with the shock and trauma of the incident.
The poor delivery rider immediately sought assistance from the San Jose del Monte Police. The authorities quickly launched an investigation and identified the suspect as Gregorio Glean, an administrative aide at LTO.
“Bilang sibilyang kawani, yung papakita mo yung baril eh medyo ano sa tao, nakaktakot, kaya may ano pa rin po yun, may threat din,” said police investigator Ryan Antimaro.
The involved individuals are set to meet on September 14, during which Glean reportedly offered an apology for his actions.
However, this does not necessarily relieve him of potential legal consequences for his alleged actions. The legal procedure will determine whether Glean will face charges for his behavior during the altercation.
