Bar Exam 2023 is finally over
BAR EXAM 2023 – Aspiring lawyers celebrated the final day of the bar examinations this year and they gathered at Mendiola in Manila last Sunday.
Every year, there are thousands of aspiring lawyers who take the bar exams. This is one of the most prestigious examinations in the Philippines. Over the years, there were examiners who eventually became prominent personalities in society like the late Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago.
This year, thousands of law students aspired to be called “attorneys” after taking the examinations.
Based on the report from ABS-CBN News, the record from the Supreme Court stated that there were 10,387 examinees who took the Bar Exam 2023 on the last day.
The Supreme Court also denied that they will be using artificial intelligence to check this year’s Bar exams. In an advisory, SC clarified this matter.
“The 2023 Bar Examinations shall be checked by four (4) examiners per subject, all of whom are established experts in their respective fields, and who are by no means created or powered by artificial intelligence,” the high court stated.
Reportedly, the 2023 Bar Chair identified the administrator of 2 Facebook accounts behind the false information.
“The Court is currently undertaking proper measures against the said individual, particularly, the prompt engagement of the National Bureau of Investigation in the conduct of criminal investigation of the nefarious activities and questionable circumstances surrounding this personality,” SC stated.
Last Sunday, was a celebration for aspiring lawyers as their hardships in preparing and taking the exams were finally over.
In a video from ABS-CBN, aspiring lawyers were cheering at Mendiola with their balloons and banners. It can also be heard that they were shouting the names of their universities. Watch the video.
