Happening this August is the Cinemalaya 2023 ad these are the official movies.
CINEMALAYA 2023 MOVIES – This is one of the most anticipated annual film festivals and these are the entries for this year’s edition.
Last year, the long-running Philippine independent film festival Cinemalaya finally returned to its physical screening after the pandemic. A few changes have been applied to this 19th edition of the film fest.
This year, it is happening from August 4 and 13 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay.
The venue has been changed since its original mainstay place, the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), is still under rehabilitation. The film presentations will be held at Cinema Rizal (Meeting Room 1), Cinema Bonifacio (Meeting Rooms 2 and 3), and Cinema Felipe (Meeting Room 4).
Ticket prices:
- Regular price: Php 300.00
- Discounted price: Php 200.00
*There is a 20% discount for Cinemalaya 19 Full-length and Shorts competition filmmakers from the regular price and a 20% discount for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, government and military personnel, and athletes from the discounted price according to CNN’s report.
