Cristy Fermin Claims Willie Revillame Talking to TV5 for His “Wowowin” Show is Fake News

Veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin belied the claims that TV host Willie Revillame is talking to the TV5 network for his “Wowowin” show.

On the legendary showbiz columnist’s “Cristy Ferminute” show, she disputed that the TV presenter is in talks with someone at TV5 about his comeback to television. The columnist responded to the mounting uproar that Willie wants to air “Wowowin” at 4 p.m. on Kapatid Network.

“Wala siyang kinakausap na kahit sino dito sa TV5. Kung totoo na may kinakausap si Willie dito po sa istasyon, sa TV5, hindi po ‘yan ililihim. Sigurado pong lalabas at lalabas ang mga detalye at kung sakali na mayroon nga siyang kinakausap at mayroon silang pinaplano ng ating istasyon, walang masama, napakaganda,” said Cristy.

“Pero kung hindi totoo, bakit po kailangan na gawan ng kuwento. Wala! Wala siyang kinakausap na sinuman, kahit sino ehekutibo o hindi, wala po siyang kinakausap dito sa TV5. Kaya ‘yung kumakalat na ‘yan ay isang fake news,” she added in her show.

Revillame addressed his emotions regarding his return to television in July. His song video named “Babalik Ako” was posted on the “Wowowin” YouTube channel. With over four minutes, the MV is pretty dramatic.

His message can be read: “Nami-miss ko na ang inyong hiyawan. Nami-miss ko na ang inyong palakpakan at nami-miss ko na ang inyong mga yakap.”
