TAPE Still Celebrating Eat Bulaga 44th Year Amid Cases Filed by TVJ

TAPE to Pursue Plans in Celebrating Eat Bulaga 44th Anniversary Amid TVJ Cases vs Them

The Television and Production Exponents Inc (TAPE) will pursue plans in celebrating the 44th anniversary of Eat Bulaga amid the cases filed by the TVJ against them.

The Jalosjos family, who own TAPE Inc, is not backing down from their plans to commemorate the 44th anniversary of the Philippines’ longest-running noontime show. This is in the midst of a copyright infringement complaint filed against them, as well as online criticism.

Eat Bulaga Celebrating Anniversary

It should be noted that the new Eat Bulaga host Paolo Contis refuted reports that the show ends on July 29. He debunked rumors by revealing that they were already planning for the big event on July 29.

Paolo stated that they had planned several surprises for their supporters, but he declined to reveal any other details about the party. Despite the complaint filed by the original hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon (TVJ), they do not intend to cancel their plans.

The iconic trio requested that the Marikina RTC prohibit TAPE Inc from utilizing the Eat Bulaga title, jingle, and segments developed by their previous creative director, Jeny Ferre, who also left TAPE Inc.

Several Kapuso Facebook accounts have already started publicizing the upcoming Eat Bulaga festival. “Malapit na tayo mga kapuso sa exciting part, 44 Years hands on sa pagbibigay ng saya at papremyo.” My Sparkle Notebook page wrote.
