Lovi Poe, Toni Fowler’s Version Of ‘Ba’t malungkot ang beshy ko’ Goes Viral
LOVI POE – Watch Lovi Poe and Toni Fowler’s version Of ‘Ba’t malungkot ang beshy ko’ here.
This meme has definitely been shared on social media much too frequently recently. The expression has gone viral online thanks to the inclusion of cartwheel emojis between each syllable. Even promotional materials for numerous brands have used it in casual talks with friends.
The exact meaning of the popular phrase is that you ask someone, usually a buddy of yours, why they are depressed. However, as the word spreads more, individuals are utilizing it as a model to jump—or should we say, cartwheel—on the fad.
The viral meme was inspired by a moment from the two-year-old drama anthology Magpakailanman on GMA-7. It was aired on December 3, 2021.
It centers on two gay friends named MJ and Lala who deal with life’s challenges on a daily basis by engaging in various types of motivation, including gymnastics.
MJ asked Lala about his mood in that specific scene. After a fight, the latter said his father was treating him coldly.
MJ then began spinning while asking Lala, “Bakit malungkot ang beshie ko?”
Lala answered with a perfect cartwheel, “Kasi malungkot ang lola mo.”
A friendly gymnastics competition between the two marked the scene’s end.
Just recently, Lovi Poe and Toni Fowler showed their funny side on TikTok. The two joined the “ba’t malungkot ang beshy ko” trend.
The Batang Quiapo stars copied a clip from the episode. They did a cartwheel and danced. The video that was uploaded on Fowler’s TikTok account has gained 8.9 million views as of this writing.
