Is it true that Bullet Jalosjos is planning to use Eat Bulaga for his political career?
TAPE Inc. chief finance officer Bullet Jalosjos, who is now serving as Dapitan City Mayor, reacted to the claim made by former Senate President Tito Sotto that Eat Bulaga will be used for his political plans.
Previously, Tito said in an interview that one of the things that they did not like about the new management of TAPE, the production company behind the longest-running noontime show is that it will be used to introduce a partylist.
Rumors also surfaced that Bullet is planning to run for Senator next elections and that he will use a segment to promote his image.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Bullet Jalosjos answered Tito Sotto’s statement that the new TAPE management wants to change the segment Bawal Judgmental to Search for Kasambahay.
The son of Romy Jalosjos said, “These are all speculations. We just launched our show, so wala pang ‘kasambahay’ segment. Sa kanya po nanggaling ‘yan,” he said. Bullet explained there had been talks to bring back the segment that would feature house helps and he said that he can’t see anything wrong with this.
Regarding Tito’s claim that a segment of the noontime show will aid Bullet’s political plans, the TAPE executive said, “As of now, wala pa po. Right now, we are just looking at a segment na gagawan naming contest. Sa lahat ng mga kasambahay, whether nasa Pilipinas man o abroad, mga OFW, pwede silang manalo,” Bullet Jalosjos said.
Tito Sotto and the rest of the Dabarkads are set to have their new show on TV5.
