PAGASA Says Habagat to Affect PH Weather Condition

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the southwest monsoon will bring rains over some parts of the country.

On (June 3, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The southwest monsoon will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the southwest monsoon or locally known as habagat will bring cloudy weather condition and rains over the western section of the country,

Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Batangas, Cavite, the rest of Mimaropa, and Western Visayas will experience similar weather conditions.

Habagat will bring monsoon rains over Occidental Mindoro and northern Palawan including Calamian Islands.

The southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the remaining parts of the country.

The weather agency has advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
