Kim Chiu Gives Reactions on the Departure of TVJ and Eat Bulaga
Kapamilya actress and TV host Kim Chiu gives her reactions on the departure of TVJ and longest noontime show Eat Bulaga from TAPE Inc.
During a media event for her new sponsorship, the “Chinita Princess” expressed her thoughts on what happened to their rival noontime show Eat Bulaga. Kim is also the host of It’s Showtime, which airs in the same time slot on the Kapamilya network.
According to the article, the actress was asked what she might say to the renowned trio Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon (TVJ) as they bid farewell from Eat Bulaga. The actress stated that change will always be present, and she expressed “high respect” for TVJ.
“Change is nandyan talaga yan eh. Parang hindi naman natin mababago yan. And then yung, high respect ng bawat isa sa TVJ is really there, kahit saan man sila mapunta or kung anuman,” she said.
Kim then offered her support and stated that everyone knows who they are, emphasizing how much they are respected. The actress also stated that all artists require support, that they should encourage one another, and that no one should put another down.
“Susuporta at susuporta. Walang tao na hindi nakakakilala sa kanila. Sobrang taas po ng respeto natin sa kanila. Kung ano yung desisyon nila and whatever is happening sa… anong tawag dyan, sa base nila, it’s for them,” she explained.
“But for us, we just have to keep on supporting kung saan man sila magpunta, and that’s what they need also, the support. Lahat naman tayong mga artista kailangan natin yung suportahan talaga. Hindi tayo maghihilahan pababa. We have to push…” Kim added during the interview.
