Chavit Singson talked about his reconciliation with Manny Pacquiao
Businessman-politician Chavit Singson shared that his friendship now with boxing-turned-politician Manny Pacquiao is “mas maganda.”
Chavit and Manny have been friends for many years now. During the height of Manny’s boxing career, he received immense support from Chavit who was always present during the boxer’s big fights.
However, it was noticeable that during the 2022 elections, Manny ran for President but Chavit supported President Bongbong Marcos’s tandem with Vice President Sara Duterte.
It was also noticeable that Chavit Singson was absent during Manny Pacquiao’s fight against Yordenis Ugas in August in 2021. There was also a time when the former mayor of Narvacan slammed the former senator regarding the tobacco tax.
Fortunately, they were able to reconcile in 2022 as they were spotted together at an event. In a recent interview, based on the article by Pilipino Star Ngayon entertainment writer Salve Asis, Chavit shared that he got invited to come to Manny’s birthday last year.
The businessman-politician said that their friendship was rekindled. “Ah yes, pareho mas maganda ngayon dahil ganoon naman talaga eh. Meron kung minsan hindi pagkakaintindihan pero hindi naman permanent,” Chavit said. He added that the boxing champ has been consulting him again.
Meanwhile, Chavit also shared that he is doing business with South Korean star Lee Seung-gi. “Ito ipa-finalize na. Hopefully mapirmahan na… ‘yung pagpunta rito, ‘yung mga kasama nya. Kaya pabalik-balik lang siya rito,” the former Narvacan mayor said about the South Korean star.
Just recently, Seung-gi came to the Philippines again. He will be having a show in the country. Chavit Singsong said that the South Korean star is kind and aside from Little Seoul Complex in Metrowalk that they are planning to build, they are also planning to build other buildings.
