According to the story, two Abellana Police Station officers were captured on camera sleeping off inside a patrol car on General Maxilom Avenue. Two more police officers from the CPPO’s Mobile Patrol Unit were also seen on tape sleeping off.

Both films went viral after they were shared on social media. According to Chief Colonel Ireneo Dalogdog of the Cebu City Police Office, two officers from the Abellana Police Station have been relocated to Siquijor, while the other two have been sent to the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office.

“This is an order of our regional director to avoid a repeat of the incident and to prevent the personnel from relaxing during their official tour of duty,” Dalogdog said in local language.

Dalogdog issued a directive to all of his station commanders and special unit chiefs in accordance with this. High-ranking officials will be included in the relieving order if their subordinates commit a similar offense, according to his directive.
