Motorcycle Rider Dead After Being Shot by Suspects Who Allegedly Stole His Motorcycle
A rider was shot and killed by unidentified suspects in Novaliches, Quezon City early Tuesday morning (May 16, 2023).
According to the reports, the suspects also stole the victim’s motorcycle. The incident occurred along Quirino Avenue around two in the morning. The victim, identified as a 26-year-old based on his ID recovered by authorities, was shot in the head.
Police are currently coordinating with the victim’s family. Two bullet shells were recovered at the crime scene by responding officers. According to a source, there were three suspects riding two motorcycles.

The suspects also took the victim’s motorcycle and replaced it with another.
Police are now pursuing the suspects, and are also reviewing CCTV footage in the area to identify the perpetrators. The Quezon City Police District is also investigating the possible motives behind the crime.
Meanwhile, the victim’s motorcycle has been brought to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit for further investigation.
