Matteo Guidicelli is happy about his new home
New Kapuso star Matteo Guidicelli expressed gratitude to the Unang Hirit family for the warm welcome he received.
Matteo is officially part of the longest-running morning show in the Philippines. After months of speculation, the actor-host eventually signed a contract with the Kapuso network.
Aside from his hosting stint in the morning show, Matteo is also part of the upcoming series Black Rider with Ruru Madrid.
Last Monday, Matteo Guidicelli officially started his hosting stint in Unang Hirit. Based on the article in Bandera, the actor-host was thankful for the new family he had.
“I have to say you guys welcomed me very, very nicely. I have to say thank you very much. Itong welcome, napakatindi at iba talaga. Maraming, maraming salamat,” he said.
Matteo said that not just the hosts but also the people behind the camera showed a warm welcome for him and because of this, he is very thankful.
The husband of Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo also shared that being on a morning show is not a big challenge for him because he is a morning person. “I usually wake up at 5:30 a.m. pero paglabas ngayon 3:30 a.m.,” Matteo shared.
He added that after waking up, he would just have a coffee or water and then proceed to his exercise.
In a previous interview, Matteo Guidicelli shared that he can’t find a word to express the happiness that he feels now that his network transfer pushed through. “You guys welcomed me very nicely. It was very touching. Honestly, I’ve never felt this kind of welcome at work. I am very excited to start my journey with GMA,” he said.
