Jericho Rosales is officially ending his acting hiatus
Actor Jericho Rosales revealed the reason why decided to take a break from doing acting projects and this lasted for 4 years.
Jericho is one of the hunk actors of his generation and he portrayed well his leading man roles. After several years of doing various acting projects on TV and in movies, he took a step back.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, the actor really intended to stop for a while in doing acting projects.
He pointed out that although his job as an actor gives happiness to him, there are times when one had to have a much-needed break. “I’m happy to have a job that I really love, but there was a time when it lost its meaning. I had to take a break from it to really get to know myself, and this took years,” Jericho Rosales explained.
The actor said that he took the journey because he was trying to look within himself as he was wondering why there was a big hole in his heart. It reached the point that it was already damaging to him.
However, just like others, he needs to work also and he thinks the right time to return has come. “It’s now time to once again focus on my artistry,” Jericho said.
His comeback performance was through “Contra Mundum: Ang All-Star Concert ng ‘Ang Larawan.’” Jericho Rosales said that he agreed to be part of this theater project because it is something that “paid tribute to some of our national artists.” He also said that as a Filipino, he is proud to be part of the show.
