Daniel Padilla was asked about future wedding plans with Kathryn Bernardo
Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla said that he does not want to talk about his future wedding with his reel and real-life sweetheart Kathryn Bernardo for now.
Daniel and Kathryn have been together for more than a decade now. From onscreen partners, love bloomed between them and KathNiel fans are already anticipating the next level of their relationship.
Just recently, the celebrity couple went viral because, during director Cathy Garcia-Molina and cinematographer Louie Sampana’s wedding, Kathryn was the one who caught the bridal bouquet which implies that she will get married next.
Everyone was teasing Daniel Padilla and he jokingly answered “bukas na bukas din”. In a recent interview, based on the article in Abante, the Supreme Idol said that it was just a “kulitan.”
Then, he stressed that he does not want to discuss yet wedding topics. “Ayoko kasi siyang pinag-uusapan, mas gusto ko siya maging natural sa amin kung dumating man ang panahon na ‘yun,” the actor said.
Daniel also shared why he and Kathryn attended Direk Cathy’s wedding when she initially intended the ceremony to be witnessed by her family only. The actor said that it was a last-minute thing. He shared that Direk Cathy realized that he and Kathryn are also family. They did several projects together.
“Yun nga nagbago last minute. Sinabi rin ni Direk (Cathy) doon sa speech niya about that. Sabi niya sana gusto niya pamilya lang, pamilya niya. Nakalimutan niya pamilya niya rin pala kami so ayun last minute biglang inimbita niya kami. Siyempre hindi namin puwedeng ma-miss iyon,” Daniel Padilla shared.
Meanwhile, the KathNiel tandem is currently doing separate projects. Daniel is set to three movies this year while Kathryn will star in a movie with Dolly de Leon.
