Cherry Pie Picache is thankful to have the chance to work with Coco Martin
Seasoned actress Cherry Pie Picache said that Batang Quiapo lead actor and director Coco Martin is a source of inspiration for many people.
Cherry Pie is one of the cast members of the Kapamilya primetime series. During a recent press conference, based on the article in The Philippine Star, the seasoned actress praised Coco.
She said that there are a lot of traits in Coco that are commendable. Cherry Pie, like a mother, said that any parent will be proud of having a son like Coco.
“I’m just so proud [of] him, hindi lang bilang artista pero bilang tao,” she said. Cherry Pie pointed out that it is like having a son who grew up a good person.
The seasoned actress said that she is indeed proud of the actor-director. At this point, Cherry Pie Picache’s voice cracked and she was about to cry because of the gratitude and happiness she felt.
Then, the actress said that even though Coco is the most “pagod” among them, still he exhibits the energy to boosts other people’s energy. “So minsan kahit pagod ka na, hindi ka puwede mag-reklamo kasi artista ka lang, eh, siya direktor, artista, sumusulat, mas marami pang iniintindi ng pangkalahatan… Grabe!” Cherry Pie said.
Even Coco Martin’s leading lady in the series Lovi Poe praised the actor. She said that the actor-director is “nakaka-inpsire.”
Just like in Ang Probinsyano, Coco also helped a lot of actors, old and new, in Batang Quiapo. Previously, he made a way for the acting comeback of Marc Solis, CJ Ramos, Lester Llansang, Jao Mapa, and Julio Diaz.
