Judy Ann Santos talked about the time when her kids would leave their house
Soap opera queen Judy Ann Santos admitted that she is reluctant to allow her kids to study abroad, especially because of the current chaotic situation in some parts of the US.
Juday’s daughter Yohan turned 18 last November. It was a star-studded celebration and a lot of friends and relatives celebrated with the debutante and her family. However, at that time, the actress admitted that she could not stop crying.
This was one of the things that Juday shared in a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer.
“I also couldn’t control my tears when she turned 18 and had her debut, what more when she tells us she already plans to leave?” Judy Ann Santos said. She was talking about the possibility that the time will come when Yohan would prefer to study abroad.
She said that she will definitely have a hard time handling “sepanx” or separation anxiety disorder. However, the actress said that right now, Yohan is leaning toward studying here in the Philippines first.
Juday shared that her adopted has applied to several universities here and is just waiting for the results of her entrance exams. She and her husband Ryan Agoncillo were thinking that Yohan should experience first studying here. “She has yet to experience going out, living a normal life, and being with friends,” she said as Yohan was in online classes amid the pandemic.
Before letting their first child live abroad, they want her to be independent and become whole as an individual. “Also, I don’t think I’d be able to sleep soundly at night knowing that even innocent children get gunned down in America,” Judy Ann Santos added.
On the other hand, the actress said that they are already preparing for the time when Yohan would tell her that she will be leaving them.
