Suzette is the writer behind the hit Kapuso series Maria Clara at Ibarra in which Barbie is one of the lead stars. In the said historical portal drama series, Barbie’s onscreen chemistry with David Licauco was undeniable.

Previously, it was revealed that their tandem was not intentional but after the viewers’ positive feedback, the script was revived to give more scenes to the characters of Barbie (Klay) and David (Fidel).

Even after the series, the FiLay love team continues to do guestings and shows together. Behind the “kilig” that fans feel for them, it is a known fact that Barbie Forteza is in a relationship with Jak Roberto.
