Cristy Fermin Claims TVJ Trio will Only Stay in Eat Bulaga Under One Condition
Veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin claimed that the trio Tito Vic and Joey (TVJ) will only stay in the noontime show Eat Bulaga under one condition.
Cristy Fermin’s YouTube show “Showbiz Now Na!” recently aired a new episode.”, she revealed that Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon presented their requests to the program’s executives. According to reports, the renowned triumvirate is the show’s foundation.
It can be recalled that millions of Eat Bulaga fans were concerned about the show’s rumored makeover. It is rumored that the present hosts of the show, as well as the production team, may be fired as a result. According to Fermin, TVJ wanted the present Eat Bulaga production team to stay on.
“Galing po ito sa aming matinding source, dapat April 17 magkakabalasan na, pero naurong, April 30 magdedesiyon ang TVJ at isa lamang ang dahilan para sila ay maiwan sa ating Eat Bulaga ngayon… Kung walang gagalawin sinuman sa production staff ang bagong mamamahala ng programa,” she said.
“Yun ang kanilang gusto, walang sinuman ang papalitan, aalisin, kailangan intact ang production staff ng Eat Bulaga mula noon hanggang ngayon,” she added in her show.
Fermin believed that the present Eat Bulaga employees treated each other as family and would resist any attempts to divide them. The article stated that leaders from Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE Inc.), including its chairman Romeo Jalosjos, had already complied with TVJ’s requests.
Fermin further stated that the conversation between TVJ and Tape Inc. personnel took a long time. She emphasized that if TVJ’s requests are not honored, it will result in a lawsuit.
