Willie Revillame reportedly will do a “world tour”
Veteran TV host Willie Revillame is set to do shows abroad and a promoter expressed that this will surely become a hit.
In a previous report, it was said that Kuya Wil asked Viva Entertainment’s Boss Vic del Rosario to be his manager once again. The veteran TV host’s show Wowowin and his affiliation with business tycoon Manny Villar’s ALLTV are among the recent hot showbiz topics.
Following the report that Kuya Wil already resigned from Villar’s TV network, entertainment columnist Jun Lalin shared that the TV host is now being managed by Boss Vic.
Reportedly, among the projects that Willie Revillame will do is a world tour. It was said that he will do shows abroad. In a follow-up article in Abante, Lalin said that they asked show producers and promoters about Kuya Wil’s upcoming shows abroad.
Lalin’s source shared that this is a good idea that Boss Vic and Willie planned to do. It is because the veteran host still has a lot of fans abroad.
“For sure, papatok ‘yan! Marami ang excited. Dito lang sa Amerika, marami ang interesadong kumuha ng pakete sa Viva. Willie is Willie. Marami talaga siyang followers dito,” a show promoter said.
It was also said that Kuya Wil’s shows abroad are expected to be a hit and so many producers are already wanting to take a slot.
Then, Lalin shared his personal experience of watching Willie Revillame’s shows abroad. The showbiz writer said that when TV5 had its international launching, fans in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates were so excited to see the veteran TV host. “Talagang pinagkaguluhan si Willie,” Lalin shared.
