Alex Gonzaga was asked about the discontinuation of ‘Tropang LOL’ on TV5
Actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga quipped about what she will do next after the last taping for the noontime show Tropang LOL on TV5.
The said noontime show, produced by Brightlight Productions which is owned by Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez, has finished the taping for the next episodes until its finale.
Previously, it was reported that Tropang LOL‘s time slot was taken back by TV5 for its program Face to Face which will be hosted by Queen Mother Karla Estrada.
Based on the article in Abante, the Kapatid noontime show will air until the end of April only. In a recent interview, Alex Gonzaga was asked what she will do now that they have finished the taping for their show.
“Maglalaba po ako sa bahay, maghugas ng pinggan. Asawa ko ‘di naglaba magmula last year,” the actress-vlogger quipped.
When asked if she will still be part of the show if it will transfer to Net25, Alex has no final answer yet. Reportedly, the show’s producer is willing to continue the show, and bringing it to another network is being considered.
“Kung may final na po, doon na lang po kami magde-decide, pero as of now, nagmi-meeting pa rin po kami, so hopefully po mangyari na, kasi marami rin kaming katrabaho doon na mga staff na galing sa ABS-CBN, baka mawalan po ng work, ‘di ba?” Alex said.
The actress-vlogger also said that they fought for the show for two years and seeing their effort might go to waste, she feels “panghihinayang.” On the other hand, Alex Gonzaga said that they are still happy because they were able to reach 2 years even though their rivals are already established shows.
