First Lady Liza Marcos Spends Sunday with Former First Lady Imelda Marcos

FIRST LADY LIZA MARCOS – The First Lady took to social media a photo of her with her mother-in-law, former First Lady Imelda Marcos, amid the rumors that the former First Lady passed away.

The Marcoses are among the most popular people in the Philippine political arena. Two (2) presidents have come from their family – the late former Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and the country’s current chief executive, Pres. Bongbong Marcos who is a namesake of his late father.

The mother of the country’s current President, former First Lady Imelda Marcos, is currently 93 years old. She was present during the many important events in the presidency of her son including the announcement of the Elections 2022 winner. She even managed to climbed to the rostrum despite her condition and old age.

Despite the issues and rumors regarding the alleged ill-gotten wealth of their family and having exiled in Hawaii, the Marcoses managed to return to power. Aside from the current President who served several positions including being a senator, former First Lady Imelda Marcos has also served as the representative of Ilocos Norte until 2019.

However, recently, there are rumors that former First Lady Imelda Marcos has passed away. The last weeks that she was last seen in public was when Pres. Bongbong Marcos won the presidency.

Amid the rumors that former First Lady Imelda Marcos died, First Lady Liza Marcos took to social media a photo of her with her mother-in-law as she greeted everyone a happy Sunday. In the said photo posted on Instagram, they were with Representative Yedda Romualdez, the wife of House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
