32-Year-Old Man Decides to Undergo Circumcision to Pursue Childhood Crush
A 32-year-old man from Zamboanga City is now ready to face his fear of circumcision in order to increase his self-esteem and not be afraid to pursue his childhood crush.
The man, who goes by the name “Alex”, said he was in Grade 6 when he first planned to undergo circumcision. However, due to his fear of the operation and blood, and because he was not yet “tuli”. He did not push through with it. Since then, Alex has kept his secret.
Growing up without a father figure, Alex’s mother raised him alone. Despite this, Alex was able to find a source of happiness in his childhood crush, Ruby. The two have known each other since they were in elementary school, and over time they became close and had a mutual understanding.
“Siguro kung may tatay ako, siya na mismo ang mag-push sa akin na i-proceed ko yung operasyon,” Alex said.
However, when they slept together one time, Alex refused when Ruby invited him to lie beside her. Alex admitted that he was afraid that Ruby would discover his secret that he was not yet circumcised. Since then, Alex avoided Ruby.
Despite avoiding Ruby for a while, Alex could not forget about her. He realized that he still loved her and wanted to court her again. However, before doing so, Alex knew that he had to fix himself first.
Knowing that Ruby prefers a circumcised man, he decided to undergo the procedure to be able to boost his self-confidence and not feel ashamed when pursuing her.
Although it took Alex years to face his fear, it only took 30 minutes to undergo the procedure. After successfully going through it, Alex faced Ruby and informed her that he was circumcised. With newfound confidence, Alex is now ready to pursue Ruby and hopefully win her heart.
