Agencies of Hyun Bin & Son Ye Jin Refute Reports Of Divorce And Allegations of Gambling Addiction
HYUN BIN – The agencies of couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin refuted reports of divorce and allegations of gambling addiction.
Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin first worked together on the film ‘The Negotiation,’ and later on reunited on the K-drama hit series Crash Landing On You, which aired from December 2019 to February 2020.
The South Korean superstars confirmed their relationship on January 1, 2021. They announced their engagement in February 2022 and got married over a month later. On December 24, 2022, the actress made public the first photo of her son with Hyun Bin, Baby Alkong.
Based on a report from PEP, the talent agencies of Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin have strongly denied the supposed divorce of the two. The respective talent agencies of Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin released official statements one after the other on Monday, March 20, 2023, to refute the rumors of their divorce.
Hyun Bin is under the care of VAST Entertainment, and Son Ye Jin is under the talent agency MSteam Entertainment.

According to a report by the South Korean website Soompi, the information that Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin allegedly divorced came from a YouTube vlog after only six months of being married. This information does not match as the two have been married for over a year.
On March 31, 2022, they exchanged their vows at the Aston House at the Grand Walkerhill Hotel in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Based on the said vlog, Hyun Bin is said to be addicted to gambling which is why Son Ye Jin divorced him.
Through a separate statement, VAST Entertainment and MSteam Entertainment clarified that the allegation against their talents is untrue. According to Hyun’s talent agency, they are currently investigating the YouTuber who spread the false information.
“[The YouTuber’s claims are] groundless. It is fake news. We are constantly monitoring the rumors. We plan to take legal action after an internal review.”
Son Ye Jin’s talent agency has also requested to delete the video along with their promise to hold those responsible for spreading false news accountable.
MSteam Entertainment’s statement reads: “This is obviously fake news. We are constantly monitoring [the situation] internally, and we have already requested YouTube to delete the video. We will take strong measures, and we also plan to take legal action in relation to the content [of the video].”
