Rabiya Mateo enjoys her showbiz career
Kapuso actress Rabiya Mateo shared that she was surprised by the amount of her talent fee now that she is in the entertainment industry.
In previous interviews, Rabiya shared that before entering the world of pageantry, she was teaching in a review center. After she embraced the life of a beauty queen, opportunities opened for her in showbiz.
She is currently one of the hosts of Ticktoclock. In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Rabiya said that she is really enjoying her showbiz career.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2020 also admitted that this industry is paying her so much to the point that she would be surprised by her own talent fee.
“Kasi, aminin na po natin, iba po kasi talaga yung ginhawang nabibigay niya sa buhay ko. I’m really appreciative about this na, ‘Oh my God, ito talaga ang suweldo ko?!’ Minsan nga po, hindi ko muna kinukuha sa GMA, iniipon ko muna para kapag nakita ko, ‘Oh, wow!’” Rabiya Mateo shared.
Meanwhile, Rabiya admitted that she still needs to improve when it comes to her acting, and hosting as well. On the other hand, she is thankful that GMA allows her to be a beginner with support for her improvement. She said that this is a challenge for her.
Rabiya Mateo can now see some improvements in her hosting. She said that at first, she was worried to show her quirky side but eventually, she is just showing her true self in front of the camera.
The Kapuso actress also shared that there was an acting project that was offered to her and she hopes that it will push through.
