Yeng Constantino Shares Experiences Being Snubbed by Famous Celebrities
Iconic singer Yeng Constantino shared some experiences of being snubbed by some famous celebrities while she was starting.
When he was first starting out, the Kapamilya singer and songwriter admits to having terrible experiences with other celebs. According to her, she simply ignores them and does not pay attention to them.
“Oo, siyempre, may ganu’n talaga, e. Wala, deadma lang din, ‘Ay, di ako pinansin,’ e, di hindi ko rin siya papansinin kasi baka may iniisip, ganyan,” said Yeng.
She stated that it does not bother her if new artists do not congratulate her. She stated that he will not force them and remarked that today’s kids are different and may not have heard her songs.
“Yung ibang bata kasi ngayon, baka di naman nila narinig ang music ko. Parang di ko naman sila pipilitin na o anuhin mo ako, chill lang din,” she said.
Despite tremendous hardships in her professional and personal life, Yeng never considered leaving the entertainment industry for 17 years. The singer cannot recall any occasion that prompted her to consider leaving show business and yielding to the hardships and challenges she endured.
“Hindi talaga. Wala akong alam ibang gawin kundi ito lamang. Kaya pakiramdam ko, kapag wala na ako sa industry, baka mag-apply akong teacher dito sa Academy of Rock. Basta music lang,” said the singer after he signed a contract as an ambassador of the Academy of Rock.
She has had several life realizations during her nearly two decades in show business. Yeng was also questioned about loyalty at the Academy of Rock news conference, as she is one of the Kapamilya stars who has chosen to stay with ABS CBN despite the fact that it no longer has a franchise.
“Para sa akin, kailangan grateful ka dahil lahat ng nangyari sa career mo ay parte ng kung sino ka ngayon.
