PCSO Terminates Licence of Cong. Arnie Teves’ STL Business in Negros Oriental

ARNIE TEVES STL – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) terminated the license of the lottery business of the Congressman and more than P61 million cash bond is forfeited.

The name of Negros Oriental 3rd District Representative Arnolfo “Arnie” Reves Jr. is one of those that were dragged in the death case of Governor Roel Degamo. The Degamo and Teves are political rivals in the province and the former Governor unseated Teves’ brother, Pryde Henry Teves, when the Commission on Elections (Comelec) proclaimed Degamo as the rightful winner of the gubernatiorial elections held in 2022.

The late former Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo was attacked by men wearing pixelated uniform at his house in Pamplona last March 4 (Saturday). His ally and several civilians also died due to the said attack and some people are still confined in the hospital.

The Negros Oriental Governor was rushed to the hospital but he died. His wife, Pamplona Mayor Janice Degamo, called to the national government for justice over her husband’s untimely passing. She stressed that he did not deserve such death and he was working on a Saturday when he was attacked at their compound.

Amid the investigation, Cong. Arnie Teves released a statement saying thet he got information that he will be pinned down on the case of Negros Oriental Gov. Roel Degamo. The lawmaker flew abroad for his treatment. Yesterday, one of the suspects in the case named Teves as the mastermind behind the killing.

Based on a post of Aksyon Radyo Bacolod, the PCSO recently terminated the license of the Four Aces Resources Management Corp. which operates the STL business of Cong. Arnie Teves in Negros Oriental. Furthermore, a cash bond of Php 61,647,262.30 will be forfeited by PCSO.

Based on the post, the CIDG also raided at least five (5) residences owned by Teves. As of this writing, there are still no updates as to the said move of the authorities.
