The Parish Priest of St. Vincent Ferrer in Solana, Cagayan, is now accused of harassing a female student. Father Karole Reward Israel was arrested for harassment by Judge Dennis Mendoza of RTC Branch 4 Tuguegarao City.

The arrest warrant for Father Israel charges him with 20 counts of lasciviousness, voyeurism, and rape. The aforementioned charges were submitted by a young private school student and member of the Solana Youth Ministry.

The priest allegedly threatened the victim with releasing their s3x video if he tried to report it to the authorities. Father Israel was apprehended on October 18, 2022, when the rescue operation was initiated in Barangay Iraga.

On October 20, 2022, he was temporarily released after posting P183,000 bail. Meanwhile, no bail was requested in the freshly issued arrest warrant for the priest, who is wanted by authorities.

Authorities say the Catholic parish priest surrendered to a police report on Friday. After obtaining the arrest warrant, the priest submitted. According to the police, the girl was sent to the church by her parents to serve God beginning in December 2019.

On May 24, 2021, the priest was ordained and assigned as the auxiliary parish priest of St. Vincent Ferrer in Solana. They first met inside the convent, where the priest was residing and the girl was working as a youth minister. They eventually became close friends.
