Lady Dentist Brings Chicken Inasal for ‘Lolas’ at Home for the Aged
A lady dentist brought free chicken inasal for the ‘lolas’ at the ‘Home for the Aged’ who helped her pray to become a licensed dentist.
A Facebook user Eena Letun Villanueva shared video footage of her birthday celebration with senior citizens from the home for the elderly, which garnered various reactions from the online community.
In 2019, Villanueva visited Mary Mother of Mercy Home for The Elderly and Abandoned during her older sister’s birthday. She had a conversation with one of the grandmas named Lola Choleng who shared a lot of her life experiences.
In October 2022, Sister Venus messaged her and informed her about the death of one grandma who frequently mentioned her name. In December 2022, Villanueva returned and asked the elderly to help her pray to pass the dentistry licensure examinations.
“After ko po bumalik doon ng October, bumalik po ulit ako nitong December. I asked them to help me pray na makapasa sa exam para mas marami pa akong madala na foods sa kanila kasi magkakawork ako ng maayos. Then ayun pinalad naman po na makapasa,” Eena said.
After passing the licensure exams, Eena was able to get a stable job and earn well. She started to save some money to treat the senior citizens on her birthday.
“Kaya nung may work na po ako, nagtatabi po ako every sweldo kasi plano ko po talaga I celebrate bday ko with them. They were surprised na nakita po nila ako that day and akala po nila di na ako babalik. Some lolas can even remember my name. And nakakatuwa po kasi sa maliit na paraan ramdam ko ung saya nila. Kasi mostly sa kanila na abandona na po and ung self pity hindi na talaga naaalis sa kanila,” she added.
