Quiapo Vendors Complain to Coco Martin: “Bumababa sales namin!”

Vendors in Quiapo Air Dismay to Coco Martin Over His Daily Shooting

Vendors allegedly complained about the daily shooting of actor-director Coco Martin for his ” FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” show Quiapo.

On the most recent episode of “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update,” the talent manager also spoke with Coco Martin about the reported complaint of some Quiapo sellers. Ogie said that certain vendors’ sales were harmed as a result of the reported continual shooting in the vicinity.

“Dear FPJ Batang Quiapo! kung mag-shooting kayo ‘wag naman araw-araw. Bumababa sales nain ‘pag nanjan kayo eh. Hayssttt Coco hanggang kelan na naman kayo ‘tong palabas mo?” a statement from a vendor shared by Mama Loi in her Showbiz Update with Ogie Diaz.

As a result, Ogie Diaz has specifically called on ABS-CBN and has made a public statement on Coco Martin’s seven-year stint in her former teleserye, FPJ Ang Probinsyano. His new show is filming sequences in Quiapo, Manila’s public market and other locations.

“Baka pwede itong solusyunan ng ABS-CBN at kanilang production staff para hindi makaapekto sa mga pang-araw araw na kabuhayan itong shooting,” said Ogie in his showbiz vlog.

“Kasi nga naman pagka- ganoon, hindi ka na mamimili manonood ka nalang ng shooting o ng taping. Naku Coco, baka naman magawan ng paraan ‘yan ah,” Ogie also appealed to Coco who is not only the lead actor in the series but also director.

Nonetheless, since its debut on February 6, the series ‘FPJ Batang Quiapo’ has been a hit. Every night, it is one of the most anticipated programs on television.

It’s just a spectacular pilot episode, and Miles Ocampo’s performance as the youthful Cherry Pie Picache was so explosive that he was liked and applauded by many, including his fellow performers and other series companions.

The series was a tribute to the late Fernando Poe Jr. (FPJ), a legendary Filipino actor and filmmaker known for his roles as tough and heroic characters, many of whom were associated with the term “Batang Quiapo.” Coco Martin played Gabriel, a young man from Quiapo who becomes embroiled in various conflicts and struggles in his community.
