Newlywed Couple Gives ‘Gold Bars’ as Wedding Souvenirs

WEDDING SOUVENIRS – A newlywed couple goes viral online for giving gold bars to their guests as wedding souvenirs.

Wedding souvenirs, also known as wedding favors, are small gifts that couples give to their guests as a token of appreciation for their attendance and support. These keepsakes serve as a reminder of the special occasion, and they can also reflect the couple’s personalities or the wedding theme.

Wedding souvenirs have been a tradition for many years, and there are endless possibilities when it comes to choosing the perfect gift for guests.

Recently, a Facebook user named Aldrik Gohel shared photos of a newlywed couple giving gold bars as souvenirs for wedding guests. The post quickly circulates online and elicits reactions from the netizens.

The wedding of Emerson Tolentino and Aeriel Estacio from Taytay, Rizal held last weekend at Aquila Crystal Palace in Tagaytay has gone viral because of the gold bars they gave to their guests as souvenirs.

Reportedly, the newlyweds distributed 100 pieces of 24-karat gold bars with a four-inch length and a design of a rabbit for the Year of the Rabbit in 2023. The wedding, which took place last Sunday, February 19, has become a hot topic on social media.

According to reports, each gold bar is priced at P15,000. The couple gave away 20 pieces through an online live stream on the day of their wedding, while the remaining 80 pieces were distributed to their guests at the reception venue.

If we calculate the total value of the 100 gold bars, it amounts to more than P1.5 million. However, according to one report, the couple did not actually spend P15,000 for each souvenir.

It was also learned that the couple is an online seller of gold jewelry, which reportedly contributed to their stable financial status.
