A male netizen joked “POV: Nanood ka ng cellphone” while watching the concert of Pinoy alternative rock band December Avenue.
December Avenue is a Filipino alternative rock band that has been making waves in the local music scene since its debut in 2016. Composed of lead vocalist Zel Bautista, guitarist Jem Manuel, bassist Don Gregorio, and drummer Jet Danao, the band has captured the hearts of many Filipinos with their soulful and emotional songs.
The band first gained popularity with their hit single “Sa Ngalan ng Pag-ibig” in 2017, which became an anthem for the brokenhearted. The song’s catchy tune and relatable lyrics made it a hit among the youth and became an instant classic. Since then, the band has released several chart-topping songs, including “Kahit Di Mo Alam,” “Bulong,” and “Huling Sandali.”
A Facebook user named Jason Dominic shared a photo of his “Point of View” (POV) while watching December Avenue’s concert at a university. The post has garnered reactions from social media users.
During the concert, Jason could barely see the band as most people raised their mobile phones to take videos. Despite this, he took pictures and delighted in what he witnessed during the concert.
“Kasama po sa line up ng tutugtog ay December Avenue, nung magvi-video na ako ng performance nila, halos ang narecord ko lang ay ang mga cellphone ng students, kahit todong-todo ng nakataas kamay ko puro cellphone pa rin na-record ko,” Jason said.
