Rendon Labador Slams Luis Manzano For Not Showing Up During Estafa Case Hearing

Rendon Labador reacts after Luis Manzano did not show on the scheduled day of his subpoena and even asked for an extension.

Actor Luis Manzano did not show up on the scheduled day of his subpoena and instead asked for an extension to answer the allegations against him regarding the alleged Flex Fuel investment scam.

According to Atty. Giselle Garcia-Dumlao, a messenger from the law firm representing Manzano submitted an Entry of Appearance and requested a 15-day extension to file a counter-affidavit.

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) issued a subpoena against Manzano and other officials of Flex Fuel Petroleum Corp. after a complaint was filed by a businesswoman, Jinky Sta. Isabel, who invested millions of pesos to become a co-owner of a gas station but did not receive the promised returns.

Isabel claimed that she was promised to receive a profit of P140,000 every three months but only received P90,000 since 2021. The company allegedly blamed the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic crisis caused by the war in Ukraine for the delay.

The victim is now trying to recover her investment, but she was disappointed to discover that more than 130 investors suffered the same fate. On the other hand, Manzano claimed that he was also a victim of the company and was owed P66 million. He also sought the NBI’s assistance in the matter.

Recently, the motivational speaker Rendon Labador reacts to the actor’s request for a 15-day extension to file a counter-affidavit. The internet celebrity’s comment elicits reactions from the online community.
