They were joined by Congresswoman Camille Villar, the daughter of business tycoon Manny Villar, jeweler Erica Concepcion Reyes, and Sen. Mark Villar’s wife Emmeline Aglipay Villar.
“Lunch with the ladies,” Mariel wrote in the caption of her post and thanked her companions for having a fun time chatting with them.
Abante entertainment columnist Rey Pumaloy wrote in an article that the friends of Toni Gonzaga now are “sosyal.” In his article published on February 7, he wrote this title: “Taga-showbiz binasura na: Toni powerful, sosyal mga katropa ngayon.”
The showbiz writer also compared Toni’s friends in showbiz and the ones she has now. “Kumpara sa mga dating kaibigang artista ni Toni, ramdam sa aura ng mga nabanggit na apat ang class at mayayaman talaga,” Pumaloy said.
The columnist added that even if there will be a two-month break in ALLTV shows’ airing or even if Toni’s show will be discontinued due to poor ratings, their friendship will not be affected.
