Female Student in Bacolod who Loses Money for Intramurals T-Shirt Ends Own Life
An 18-year-old female student ends own life after being accused that she allegedly losing the money for intramurals t-shirt in Bacolod City.
A female college student in Negros Occidental was discovered dead inside her home after apparently committing suicide. According to the report, the problem was a lack of funds for intramural sports.
According to the police investigation, the victim reportedly embezzled money handed to her by her classmates to pay for the t-shirts they ordered to be printed. The victim’s mother disclosed that her daughter is the treasurer of their school organization.
During the interview, the mother stated that they raised funds for intramural t-shirts. However, when the t-shirt provider requested payment, her daughter did not immediately give it.
It was discovered that her daughter is accused of misusing the funds for unexplained purposes. As a result, the t-shirt supplier brought the woman to the barangay twice, but she still did not pay, based on the report.
The student was discovered deceased in their Bacolod City home on January 31, this year. According to his mother, this added to the family’s anguish because his grandma was recently buried.
