Cristy Fermin talked about the concerts of Moria deal Torre and Toni Gonzaga
Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin compared Moira deal Torre’s concert to the concert that Toni Gonzaga did at the Araneta Coliseum.
On January 20, along with her birthday celebration, Toni also celebrated her 20th anniversary in the entertainment industry and she did this through her I AM TONI concert.
Controversies surfaced along with the concert. It was alleged that the ticket sales did not go well and tickets were just given away for free. Videos also surfaced taken during the concert which added to the negative perceptions about the event like the video that Toni’s sister Alex Gonzaga shared in which the audience was not enjoying the show.
On February 3, Moira did a major concert at the Araneta as well and it can be seen in videos that surfaced online how the concertgoers enjoyed the performances. In a recent episode of Cristy Fermin’s Cristy Ferminute show with Romel Chika, she mentioned that Moira beat Toni, based on the article in Abante TNT.
“Ang totoo, ang totoong-totoo ay pinakain po ng alikabok ni Moira dela Torre si Toni Gonzaga sa pagso-show niya sa Araneta Coliseum. Punong-puno Romel, filled to the rafters ‘ika nga,” Cristy said.
The veteran writer also said that Moira’s concert is a true “sold-out concert.” “Dito po ay hindi natin maiiwasan ang pagkukumpara dahil totoo naman po kasi na sold out po, ito ang tunay na sold out na masasabi. Hindi ipinamigay, hindi pinakyaw para ipamigay, ito po ay binili ng ating mga kababayan sa kagustuhan nilang masaksihan ang concert talaga ni Moira dela Torre,” she said.
To recall, rumors surfaced that Toni’s mother Mommy Pinty bought 500 tickets to support her daughter. Later on, the concert producer confirmed that Mommy Pinty bought 350 tickets and it was said that there are several people who sponsored the concert.
Cristy also talked about the comments on Toni’s performance during her concert as many said that she did not do well in her own songs. The veteran writer pointed out that this is opposite to Moira’s performance which people really appreciated.
“Samantalang ‘yung kay Toni, alam natin ang totoo. Dalawang araw na bokya, walang bumili ‘di ba? Dalawang araw ‘yun, tapos biglang nagulat na lang ang Araneta, biglang may pumapakyaw ng daan-daan na ticket. Nako, magpakatotoo po tayo, si Moira po ay lehitimong kumita ang concert,” Cristy Fermin stressed.
