Willie Revillame Wowowin Show Status On ALLTV, Lolit Solis Shares Thoughts

Veteran showbiz writer Lolit Solis shared her thoughts on ALLTV’s decision to reassess its shows, including the game show Wowowin hosted by veteran TV host Willie Revillame.

For seven years, Willie’s game show aired on GMA-7. However, early last year, the TV host revealed that he decided not to renew his contract with the Kapuso network as he was already negotiating with AMBS, the media company of business tycoon Manny Villar that bought ABS-CBN’s frequencies.

Willie’s Wowowin was the first show that was officially announced to be aired on ALLTV. However, almost six months after the soft launching of the new TV network happened, it was announced that the management is postponing the airing of its shows.

In a recent statement on his program, Willie Revillame slammed the critics of his show and ALLTV. He said it appeared people are happy for the demise of others. Because of this, Kuya Wil is among the trending topics on Twitter.

In a writeup that Lolit Solis shared on her Instagram page on February 4, she talked about the reassessing that ALLTV has decided to do with the shows. “Imagine mo nga naman na ang dami pang lugar na hindi naabot ng signal ng All TV kaya siguro dapat muna itong ayusin,” she said.

The veteran writer also said that it is “sayang” that the network has a good plan when it comes to its shows but due to the problem in its signal, this will take a halt for now.

Then, Lolit mentioned her fellow columnists Salve Asis and Gorgy Rula who are apparently watching the show of Willie. “Sure ako mami miss ninyo Salve at Gorgy ang show ni Willie Revillame na parang ang luma na ng concept kaya parang hindi umingay,” she said.

With this, the veteran writer said that it is just right to fix all the shows first before the airing will continue. Lolit also made comparisons between the new shows and the old movies being aired on ALLTV.

“Mabuti pa nga ang mga old movies na ipinalalabas nila at talagang mataas ang rating, kaya tuloy tuloy ito. Goodluck sa All TV dapat talagang magtagumpay ito dahil source of job parin ito sa marami,” Lolit said.
