The Talisay City police arrested a 23-year-old woman identified as Genevieve Labuca Abucaño during a hot pursuit operation. The female suspect allegedly swindled money out of a sari-sari store.

The CCTV footage shows Abucaño pretending a customer at a sari-sari store in Purok Kamansi, Upper Candulawan, Talisay City. The culprit bought goods and paid P1,000 but canceled the transaction.

After a few moments, the woman complained and claimed that she was repaid P100 instead of P1,000. The store owner named Arjay Celis Memoracion thought that it was his honest mistake and gave her another P1,000 bill.

However, Memoracion reviewed the CCTV footage and discovered that the female suspect received the P1,000 refund and took another P1,000 from him. The lady culprit may probably face charges of estafa.
