SHARON CUNETA – Kapamilya actress Julia Montes is relatively close to Sharon Cuneta and this is the latter’s promise to her.
In a previous article, Julia Montes shared that her closeness to Megastar Sharon Cuneta started when they worked together in the series Ang Probinsyano. There was accordingly an instant connection – a special connection – between them and their closeness did not just stay on the set. Their mother-daughter-like relationship transcends real life.
Just recently, they appeared as guests in Magandang Buhay and there was a moment in the interview when the younger actress became emotional.
She teared up when in front of many people and being watched by lots of viewers, the Megastar vowed to love her like her own daughter. The Megastar promised that she will take care of her and treasure the kind of relationship that they share.
Cuneta added, “Mapagkakatiwalaan niya ako sa ups and downs. Aalagaan ko siya, mamahalin ko siya na parang tunay na anak at lagi akong nandito to protect her, damayan siya at ipadama sa kanya kung mayroon man siyang hindi nadama, kasi ‘yon din ang ibinibigay niya sa akin.”
According to Montes, she has found the thing that she was looking for in the Megastar. It was unexplainable to her how they became close to each other.

To recall, Sharon and Julia played the mommy and daughter roles in the now-defunct drama series. And for Sharon, to the stars she met who eventually became her “anak” in real life, it is Montes that is her favorite “anak” in the entertainment industry.
