Former Palamig Vendor Buys 3 Houses After Years of Sacrifices as OFW in Israel
A former palamig vendor has now three houses after working as OFW and make a lot of sacrifices just to achieve her dream.
A Facebook user named Marites Reyes has shared photos of the three houses she achieved after working as an Overseas Filipino Worker in Israel. The post earns praise from the online community.
Marites Reyes revealed that she is a former palamig vendor selling halo-halo and sago gulaman. In 2006, she decided to work abroad as a caregiver and housemaid in Israel to earn more.
Reyes narrated that all of her employers were kind, loving, understanding and generous. She expressed her gratefulness to her employers who helped her. However, she has a lot of sacrifices just to buy houses for her family.
“Lahat ng naging amo ko, ok naman sila sakin kahit noon ng aalaga pa ko ng matanda. Kagandahan dito may right po kami at bihira yung may nanakit ng kasambahy dito. Lahat kami dito caregiver o hindi tuloy ang trabaho namin dito noon pandemic,” Reyes said.
The former vendor said that she was able to help her family and relatives because of her job abroad. Marites also thanked God for the guidance and all the blessings she had right now.
“Ang magndang naidulot ko sa pag work dito marami akong natulungan lalo sa pamilya ko at sa mga pamangking ko at sa iba din. Bilang isang ofw hindi basta basta, nandiyan yung pagod at tiis alang alang sa kinabukasan. Mahirap ang mag isa lalo na at malayo sa pamilya pero nandiyan ang gabay ng Panginoon saakin. Lagi ako nag darasal na laging nandiyan ang kanyang pagiingat sakin araw araw,” she added.
