Beauty pageant fans were surprised after Samantha Lo announce her relationship with a fellow woman. Last January 18, 2023, Samantha introduced to the public, through Instagram, her partner, Jannica Rubin.
But the couple received support from netizens for their confession. The Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2019 is very happy because she did not think the public’s reception of her relationship with fellow women was positive.
On her Instagram last night, January 22, Samantha Lo expressed her gratitude to the public through an open letter. According to Samantha, she makes Jannica happy every day because she is happy when she sees her happy.
The beauty queen said that she and her partner do not intend to publicly discuss their decision to make their relationship Instagram official. She said, “This is our life, all day, every day. Just me always wanting to make @jaaaanniiii smile because I love seeing her happy. We just want to thank you all so much for your overwhelming support.”

Samantha Lo said they receive many questions from netizens regarding their relationship and they will answer them through a vlog.
“We get a lot of questions from people about the ins and outs of our relationship so we are excited to announce that we will be answering those questions in our upcoming vlog series ‘The cucharita.’ (The little spoon). Sending love always, Sam and Jan,” she wrote.
Jannica’s comment on Samantha’s post: “I love this photo of us! I love you baby [heart emoji]”
The beauty queen’s response: “Oh, it’s you. you commented on my post.”
