Man Killed After Receiving Gunshots from Police in Quezon City

An armed man was killed on the spot after allegedly exchanging gunshots with police officers in Quezon City.

The man died on the spot after shooting back at the police in Brgy Doa Imelda, Quezon City. According to Police Major Octavio English Jr, the man was spotted with a gun at his side while conducting a follow-up operation with Police Station 11 Galas’ anti-criminality patrol.

Based on the report, his behavior was suspicious, and when the operatives approached him, he pulled out a gun and fired at them. The police retaliated immediately, and the suspect was shot.

.45 caliber and the motorcycle allegedly stolen by the man were discovered at the crime scene. Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspect was involved in motorcycle thefts in Quezon City and Manila. Police are still looking into the identity of the deceased suspect.

Meanwhile, on Sunday morning, a man was killed after being shot by an unidentified man while walking in Tondo, Manila. Adrian Ochangco, 23, died as a result of three bullet wounds.

With the gun in his hand, the suspect fled. The incident occurred on Road 10, opposite Smokey Mountain, according to the Manila Police District (MPD) -Raxubah Police Station. Residents heard three consecutive gunshots as Ochangco was walking in the area.
