Toni Gonzaga Concert Went “Sold Out” Due to Free Tickets?

Concert of Toni Gonzaga Allegedly Went Sold Out After Giving Away Free Tickets

The “I Am Toni” concert of the multimedia star Toni Gonzaga allegedly went sold out after giving away free tickets to random people.

Toni Gonzaga performed her 20th-anniversary concert “I Am Toni” on January 20, which also happened to be her birthday. The site is Araneta Coliseum, and the event is a celebration of her two-decade career in show business.

Toni Gonzaga Free Tickets

Many individuals questioned her ability to fill the venue. However, other celebrities, including Filipino artist Andrew E, tweeted a video showing the Big Dome packed with people.

According to the report, Toni’s show was completely sold out. However, other netizens revealed that the concert gave away free tickets to random individuals so that they could watch Toni sing live on stage.

Several Twitter users have uploaded photographs and videos of putative free ticket recipients. A user named @marlonso6 even posted a video of himself carrying the free ticket.

“Ooopsy!! May stamp talaga na free  I’m not against Tony G pero manghakot ng tao para lang masabi na sold out concert ka? Ennngk #IAmOtinG #PaalamToniGonzaga,” he wrote in his caption.

Another netizen uploaded snippets of Facebook postings boasting about their free concert tickets. According to the images, one concertgoer is a supporter of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., while the other is a first-time attendee.

Meanwhile, the multimedia star’s fans have refuted rumors that the concert gave away free tickets. Some believed that it was also the work of her detractors, particularly anti-Marcos internet users and supporters of former Vice President Leni Robredo.

It can be recalled that the concert producer Joed Serrano revealed that approximately 15% of tickets remain unsold. This is contrary to what her detractors assert.

It was also reported Mommy Pinty purchased more than 300 tickets for their relatives and friends. The producer also purchased a package for him, which was sold to those who chose to buy from them rather than from the internet.

  1. Well most if not all concerts give away up to hundreds of complimentary tickets. Which are marked as “Free Tickets” so they cannot be re-sold by scalpers. So finding such tickets is not a new thing in the entertainment industry. And definitely not foul. Ginagawa ng mga production outfits to. Sinungaling yung prod outfit na magsasabi na alaws silang mga compli-tix.
