Pokwang Refuses To Give Lee O’Brian A Second Chance

POKWANG – Kapuso actress-host Marietta Subong a.k.a. Pokwang refused to give her ex-partner Lee O’Brian a second chance.

It can be recalled that Pokwang announced the end of her relationship with Lee O’Brian in July 2022. Her friend Ogie Diaz, a talent manager and vlogger, broke the news first.

There were rumors that the separation was due to financial issues. Lee was accused of relying solely on Pokie for his financial needs. Pokwang, however, slammed the accusations made against her ex-partner. Lee, according to her, is “masipag” and looks after their daughter Malia.

Many resourceful celebrities sought new means of support once the start of the epidemic abruptly brought the entertainment business to a standstill. Pokwang was one of these actors-turned-entrepreneurs who launched her first home-based business Poklee Food Products alongside Lee O’Brian.

The company had a product lineup that includes laing, sili garlic aligue, garlic aligue, espesyal suka, gourmet tuyo, tinapa, strawberry jam, and kimchi. The former couple launched their business in late 2019.

Last January 18, Pokie announced on her Instagram account that the Poklee Food brand is no longer available. She said that they should now order from her new brand called Mamang Pokwang’s Gourmet.

After informing her followers that her restaurant venture with Lee is no longer running Pokwang explained why she and Lee are no longer together. In the same post, Trivia Master Kim Atienza penned a comment which had the online community intrigued by the comedian’s reply.

She replied, “Siguro napagod lang kami.” However, it appears that the former couple has no chance of reconciliation. Pokwang wrote in response to Kuya Kim, “Wala na po hahhahahaaaahaa may nilalandi na sya hahahhahhahahhaa hindi nag-effort na lunukin ang pride chicken para kay tisay!!!”

When a netizen commented that the female host sounded jealous in her initial comment, Pokie replied, “hahahaa, hindi rin!! natatawa nga ako ang cheap hahahhahaha.”
