Janine Gutierrez Asked About the Possibility Of Her Joining Beauty Pageants

JANINE GUTIERREZ – Actress Janine Gutierrez was asked about the possibility of her joining beauty pageants.

Lots of Filipino pageant fans were not too pleased with the outcome of the recently concluded Miss Universe pageant because Celeste Cortesi was unable to make it into the Top 16 of the competition. Kapamilya actress Janine Gutierrez is one of the celebrities who reacted to the contest.

This disappointed avid fans of the Miss Universe in the Philippines who had hoped Celeste would bring home the fifth crown for the country. Janine made an effort to make Pinoy pageant fans smile amidst their shock and sadness.

In a tweet on January 15, Janine Gutierrez stated, “As anak ni Lotlot, sending all my love to everyone affected by today’s events.”

Many people are aware that Janine is the child of the actors Monching Gutierrez and Lotlot de Leon. The gay community substitutes the word “lotlot” for “loss” or being defeated by the opponent.

Following this, Janine Gutierrez was interviewed by PUSH and selected members of the entertainment press at the grand media conference of the upcoming Kapamilya series Dirty Linen where she will play the role of Alexa Salvacion.

“Yeah I watched. I was watching noong time na ‘yun kasi si Direk Andoy (Ranay) actually naghahanap ng live telecast nasa taping kami nun e’. Hindi ko pa naman eksena so nanunod ako,” Janine said.

Here, the actress personally answered the dream of many pageant fans that she try out in the beauty pageant, especially now that she is one of those promoting the new age requirements under the new Miss Universe owner.

“I’m flattered, im so-so flattered, salamat sa lahat ng mga naniniwalang kaya ko doon,” Janine said. That’s why the Kapamilya star directly answered if there is any hope of seeing her in the pageant arena. “Wala…” she said.

The 33-year-old actress said acting is closer to her heart far from training to become a full-fledged beauty queen. She said, “Mas gusto ko po mag-taping, mas gusto ko po umarte.”
