A male suspect named Carlo Pangilinan has been arrested over robbery charges and illegal possession of a bladed weapon. The barangay watchmen and police officers caught him carrying a metal vault he stole from a house in Barangay Veterans Village.

The cops caught the culprit carrying the stolen metal vault. The suspect is about to place the vault on his motorcycle when he was caught, according to Masambong Police Station commander Police Lt. Col. Resty Damaso.

“Kahina-hinala yung dating niya. May dala-dala siyang vault. So, nagtaka na yung mga ano natin kung bakit may dalang vault,” Damaso said.

Aside from a vault worth P20, 000, Pangilinan also steals 15 kilograms of rice. The authorities recovered a deadly weapon from the suspect.

The caretaker was shocked after learning about the incident during his six-day vacation.
