Jane de Leon is now being linked to a politician
Rumor has it that the boyfriend of Darna actress Jane de Leon is a politician and here is the reaction of her manager to this.
Jane’s career as an actress skyrocketed when she was named the new Darna after Liza Soberano had to turn down this role due to an injury. Because of this big break in showbiz, Jane captured the attention of many showbiz fans but allegedly, the guy who captured her heart is a politician.
In a recent article by entertainment writer Jun Lalin in Pilipino Star Ngayon, it was said that Jane is now being linked to a politician. Lalin shared that she asked Jane de Leon’s manager Tyrone Escalante about the rumor.
“Hindi totoo ‘yan. Minsan lang sila nagkasama, nang mag-meeting kami kasi gusto nga niyang i-produce ‘yung isang project ni Jane, pero hindi naman natuloy. Saka marami kami sa meeting na ‘yon. After that, hindi na sila nagkita uli,” the manager of the actress said.
Tyrone also debunked the allegations that Jane just pretended to be sick and just took a rest at a beach. The manager stressed that the actress indeed got sick and because of this, she was not able to continue taping for the series.
To recall, rumors surfaced that Darna is set to end soon and it will be replaced by Coco Martin’s teleserye Batang Quiapo with Lovi Poe. Lalin shared that Darna only has one taping day left and this will happen on January 24.
Before ending his writeup about Jane de Leon, Jun Lalin has this intriguing statement: “Hindi ko na inusisa si Tyrone tungkol sa chikang nakarating sa akin na may non-showbiz boyfriend si Jane dahil for sure, secret ang bagay na ‘yon, huh!”
