Through a statement from a publicist Peter Ledesma, Mommy Pinty made clarifications about the incident. It was said that Alex’s mother has been hiring the services of Florabel Resto and Catering Services for many years now. Because of that, it was said that the Gonagaza matriarch and her family have become close to the waiters and staff.

The statement also stressed that waiter Allan and Alex have known each other already and that the former is already accustomed to the latter’s playful attitude. It was also clarified that the actress-vlogger was not drunk in the video as speculations surfaced online.
