Fashion Designer Michael Leyva Shows 4 Gowns He Made For Celeste Cortesi
CELESTE CORTESI – Fashion designer Michael Leyva showed the four (4) gowns he made for Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi.
When competing in the Miss Universe 2022 contest, Celeste Cortesi looked lovely in her evening attire. Los Angeles-based fashion designer Oliver Tolentino is the creator of two evening gowns that the 25-year-old Filipino-Italian beauty queen wore at the prestigious pageant.
Celeste competed in the preliminary evening gown competition wearing the first one, a sky-blue column gown with art deco details.
On Saturday, January 14, 2023 (January 15, PH time), the grand coronation night of the pageant, Celeste Cortesi wore a different dress: a mermaid gown with a plunging neckline and butterfly embroidery.
Celeste actually had a number of different gown choices for the Miss Universe 2022 beauty pageant.

Following the Miss Universe 2022 pageant, fashion designer Michael Leyva shared photos of all four of the gowns he made for Celeste Cortesi. He posted it on his Instagram page.
Michael included a clip of Celeste getting dressed in the fully beaded sky-blue Swarovski gown with cape. The fashion designer complimented the beauty queen in the caption for doing her best to represent the nation in the aforementioned international pageant.
He wrote, “You’re still our Miss Universe [blue heart emojis] Thank you for making us all proud [Philippine flag emoji]

In a separate post, Michael Leyva displayed the two additional sky-blue gowns he made for Cortesi. He said, “She is indeed #celestial [blue heart emojis] Gown options i made for her for the evening gown competition [emojis]
“Thank you our queen @celeste_cortesi for making us all proud [emojis] #michaelleyvamanila #michaelleyva”
