The producer of the Toni Gonzaga Concert has this statement on ticket sales
Toni Gonzaga Concert – Producer Joed Serrano revealed that only 15 percent of tickets for Toni’s concert remained unsold.
Toni is celebrating her 20th anniversary in the entertainment industry this year. To commemorate her milestones, she will hold a concert on January 20, which is also her birthday, at the Araneta Coliseum.
Late last year, the Ultimate Multimedia Star started promoting her concert through a media conference and social media posts. However, following the not-so-good result of her Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2022 movie My Teacher when it comes to ticket sales, rumors surfaced that people are not buying her concert tickets as well.
It was also alleged that her mother Mommy Pinty Gonzaga had to buy 500 tickets to show support for her. In a report from Manila Bulletin, Joed Serrano, Toni Gonzaga Concert producer, only 15 percent of the tickets are not sold, as of this writing.
“As of Jan. 13, Friday at 4:45pm, The ‘I Am Toni’ Concert at Araneta Coliseum on Jan. 20 has already sold 55 percent of the tickets. Twenty percent goes to the sponsors who pledged their support for their endorser Toni Gonzaga,” the concert producer said in a statement.
Joed also said that Toni’s mom bought 350 tickets for her friends, relatives, and churchmates. He added that as a concert producer, he also reserved 300 tickets that he will give to his friends who ordered from him instead of ordering from Ticketnet.
“These tickets are paid. Wala ng libre sa panahon ngayon except pag kapamilya mo ang manonood. Iba ang concert sa pulitika at pelikula,” Joed stressed. Then, he declared, “As of this date, we still have 15 percent [of] tickets unsold. You can still buy your tickets and get a chance to watch this very controversial concert.”
The producer also said that the Toni Gonzaga Concert titled I Am Toni is a celebration of the actress’s two decades in showbiz and so negativity should not be entertained.
